In our last newsletter we had plenty of updates and this issue is no different. We are delighted to sign our first client in New Zealand, winning the contract to
implement Vitro’s Digital Medical Record at St George’s Hospital marks another important step in Vitro Software’s journey. I want to welcome St George’s , we are excited to be working with such an innovative hospital and look forward to the months ahead. We have also kicked off a project with Breastscreen Victoria in Australia which we are delighted to see momentum on.
While we are thrilled to increase our client base, we are very fortunate in having a tremendously supportive current client base. When we think about our clients, they are more than just that, we consider our relationship with them as true partnerships. We develop solutions that drive them to be paper free organisations, but the approach is one of collaboration and co-design.
In Kenya we continue our work with The Nairobi Hospital and look forward to their upcoming go-lives starting in November. In 2019, we will see Vitro implemented across many departments as the hospital continues to realise their digital goals.
In the last year as you know we have invested in the area of Rare Disease, it is an exciting journey and I am very happy to see our partnership with Biogen Inc. continue and we look forward with optimism in 2019. We are also developing a worldwide class case management system for Barnardos Children’s Charity in Ireland.
We are also well under way towards the launch of a new Vitro product, Vitro Elements, it is very similar to our traditional Vitro offering though designed as an off-the-shelf suite of Apps initially focused on core clinicals. It is an exciting move as it will potentially see the opening of additional geographies for Vitro. You will hear more about this in 2019.
We are growing, not only is it visible in having new clients and extending our projects with our current clients but it is fantastic to see new people joining our team. I welcome them all. In recent months two new people have joined our management team, Stephen O’Carolan and David Andrews, they bring a wealth of knowledge to the organisation and have certainly hit the ground running.
I would also like to draw attention to our Australian Director, Berne Gibbons, who was recently included in the Australian Financial Review list of the top 100 Women of
Influence in Australia. We are very proud of Berne and her achievements.
I would also like to thank our team for their continued hard work and dedication and finally, I would like to thank all of our clients and partners for their continued support and confidence.
